Hi,
In the Settings tab, Under expert settings can you check if the option to “Delete local backups” is checked?
Kind Regards,

Hi,
Thank you for your response. Yes that option is checked but the issue is still there. See the video link here showing the problem

If you open the JS console do you see any errors, please see here for a guide: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-do-i-open-my-browsers-developer-tools/
What version of UpdraftPlus, PHP and WordPress are you running?

Hi,
Apologies, I can only see your UpdraftPlus version number (not your WP or PHP versions)
Your initial video is no longer available, I seem to recall that it was OneDrive backups that you could not delete but backing up to OneDrive is a Premium feature so I think I am mistaken. Could you remind me of which remote storage you were using?

Hi,
No my apologies the video was not good. Here is a screen capturehttps://snipboard.io/Zb0zKA.jpg
I am using Google Drive to backup – The drive account seems to be out of space and I cannot delete anything
The wordpress version is 6.3.1

I am not sure where to find the php version
I have just run some backups to Google Drive and I did not experience the same issue (I have the same WP version as you) So the question is, what is different between my install and yours?
Can you try deactivating your other plugins and seeing if you are able to delete any backups, if you are can you reactivate your plugins one by one until you find the offending one.
If the issue does not appear to be with your plugins, can you switch to a default theme and then see if you can delete the backups.
You can find your php version by going to tools >>site health >> info > server in your WordPress dashboard.
