• Hello –

I have been using Online Backup for WordPress without any problems for several months. I had it set for daily backups. Starting January 8, 2013, however, the backups stopped.

My backups are at 99.98 MB, so I suspect the old backups are not being deleted and I have run out of space. I do not see any way to manually delete old backups.

    I appreciate your help.

    Thank you,
    Doug Short

    Hi doshort,

If you go into Activity Log, you can Show Events for the latest backup that failed.
Let me know the reason for failure.

If it is quota reached, email the message and your username from the Online Backup Settings page to support “at” backup-technology.co.uk
We’ll increase it if we can, we normally allow up to 500MB depending on number of requests, and totally free of charge.

    Regards,

    Jason

Let’s say I have enough backup space to save 5 backups of my website. Is there a function for getting ride of the oldest one to make room for the newest backup? This would be on an online site like DropBox.
    Thanks,
    Kirk

    Hi Kirk,

Best to create a topic as this topic was for a different issue.
Also, we don’t support dropbox as a backup target so I’m not sure what you are asking. If you’d like to provide more background on your problem, please can you do so in a new topic? It helps the community find things and keeps things tidy.

    Thanks!

    Jason.
