Hi, I just purchased the developer plugin, and I have a couple of questions:

    1) When I try to run BackUpWordPress to FTP, I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 322403407 bytes) in /home/ibpnincj/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress-pro-ftp/inc/class-ftp.php on line 158

Does this mean that the memory size needs to be larger than the backup? If yes, this will be unfortunate because I usually work with large backup files, and I do not always have flexibility on the memory size.

    2) Since I am putting the FTP credentials into the plugin, does this mean that a malicious hacker could delete my off-site backups? Having safe off-site backups is one of the key reasons I purchased this plugin.

    Thanks

    hi Owain

Yes I noticed that this forum is not supposed to support the paid plugins, so I re-submitted my question via the plugin support.

    thanks

    Hi Mark,

Latest version of FTP Extension should fix this, could you mark this as resolved?
