BackWPup doesn’t work with WP-cron | ww.wp.xz.cn

When I schedule a backWPup job using WP-cron, it doesn’t execute.
I have tried to put define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’ , true ); in the WP-config, but that didn’t help me. I can start the job manually.

There are no clues in the backup Settings/information:
Server self connect Response Test O.K.

Please advise. I would like to buy the backWPup Pro edition, but as long as the free version doesn’t run, I am not buying.

I think you have configured the corn job incorrectly so the job can’t run, please follow the instruction from wp doc here: https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/cron/hooking-wp-cron-into-the-system-task-scheduler/ to set up and trigger wp-cron.

Or you can even run the BackWPup job with a link, in your job -> Schedule tab -> choose start job with a link then -> trigger the link with your server cron to run the job.
