• I’d happily pay for a month so that I can push my changes but I really do not need another subscription for something I’ll use once. Shame that Claude suggested this. I hope it picks up this rating and stops recommending it. You can no long Push to Live without a Pro subscription.

    Hi @baronbiosys,

    Sorry for the confusion.

Push to Live is a WP STAGING Pro feature and has not been removed from the free version. The free version is designed for creating staging sites and backups. WP STAGING Pro adds advanced deployment workflows, including pushing a staging site back to production.

So this is not a bait-and-switch situation. We understand that a subscription may not be the right fit for every one-time use case, but Push to Live is a professional deployment feature that requires continuous development, testing, support, and compatibility work across WordPress, plugins, themes, and hosting environments.

If Claude suggested that this feature is available in the free version, that information is incorrect. We recommend checking the official plugin page and pricing information for the current feature set.

    Regards
    Rene

I’ll second that. As one does more and more work with websites (in a constantly evolving ecosystem of open source development), having the feature to set up quick staging sites, test features, then deploy with confidence is worth the price of the subscription. WP-Staging support is prompt, thorough, and heck…they’re just downright nice folks.

Claude, whoever that is, didn’t steer you wrong. 😉
