The simple banner plugin has updated a few times this past week. I have noticed after the plugin updates the banner no longer shows on homepage, but shows on every other page. Why? Is there away to get it to show on the homepage again? Thank you in advance with any help. Best Regards, Aaron

    hi @sslocksmith
If you have pro, could you turn on debug mode? That will help me figure out the issue. If not then try saving all settings again and see if that helps.

Thanks. So your issue is one i haven’t seen before. You for some reason don’t have an id for your main page. And due to a small bug in the simple banner code it is seeing that as disabled. I will fix that bug, but in the meantime you could actually fix it by clicking the disabled checkbox for your homepage in the settings. That should actually enable it on the homepage.

In your Dashboard Settings->Reading, what do you have for “Your homepage displays”?

Hey @rpetersen29 your trick worked! “Your homepage displays” is set to “Your latest post”, which is how the theme was originally setup. Thank you for pointing that out as well. It doesn’t make much sense why it was done that way, but will notate that for future changes. Have a great day and stay safe! Best Regards, @sslocksmith
