Then you don’t have your base directories configured optimally.

You should only need one base directory.

Base Directory 1: path/to/parent/directory

[fileup sub=”fa-username”]

This points to:

path/to/parent/directory/joesmith
or
path/to/parent/directory/bobjones
or
path/to/parent/directory/janejenkins

[fileup showto=administrator] will then point to:

path/to/parent/directory

and the administrator will be able to choose from any of its subdirectories, e.g., “joesmith” or “bobjones” or “janejenkins”
