    Hi,

    Host Saint Lucia (http://www.hoststlucia.com) has just taken on board, in the last few months, a number (in excess of 1000) websites simply because the previous company could talk the talk but they couldn’t walk the walk.

    Host Saint Lucia is a “Web Hosting ISP” and has huge experience with database driven solutions and has been creating database driven solutions for over 50 years.

    We started (or I started) on 1st April 1967, Not the same name but – heay – why should I “re-invent the wheel” so late in my life when the wheel, fundamentally, works

    We took on board all our predecessors servers content and migrated them to our own “server farm”.

    Big Job With WordPress and Joomla sites – but still a challenge.

    We have two clients running the Dokan System. Interesting N’est pas.? as this is, currently, not a plugin we are familiar with, although things might change very soon.

    However, your plugin, from an operational viewpoint, begs a few questions.

    So many questions!

    Our clients have their own products. Can another “shop” sell those products and, if so, is there any payment for them.

    I suspect that what I am asking is – Can one shop promote the products of another shop.

    I will await your reply, with the utmost patience, however should you prefer, you may contact me direct through our web site.

    I have also instructed one of my techies to establish a secure messaging system that runs through our own servers rather the email. He tells me that should be online within 24 hours – she tells me 12 hours. We’ll see!

    Hi,

    With other people getting a quick response from your forum I’m wondering what I have done to offend you.

    Perhaps my first post was too convoluted.

    The question I asked was: –

    Our clients have their own products. Can another “shop” sell those products and, if so, is there any payment for the sellers of the base products?

    I suspect that what I am asking is – Can one shop promote the products of another shop.

    To me that doesn’t sound too difficult to answer. Basic answer = yes or no. A longer answer would be preferred. Does it take TWO days to respond to such a simple question?

    Maybe I should pose the same question on your plugin page. If potential clients see how long you take to respond, from support with such a simple question, maybe they will consider other options.

    I will not wait forever.

    We are really sorry for being late. We are on the weekend and for that reason, you did not get any reply from us. Else, we always reply within a very short time. Please accept my apology.

    If you are an admin and if you have selected product then another vendor can easily sell the same product on their store. The vendor can duplicate your product to their own store. You can use this add-on: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/dokan-product-duplicator/ to duplicate a product from another store.

    Also, the vendor would be able to upload their own product to sell.

    Now, can you please describe me in more details about the product promotion? How do you want to promote products on another shop?

    I will respond through the private link you gave me. I feel sure that, taking into account your comments from the forum, this will allow us to, collectively, move to a much higher and mutually beneficial level.

    We have a number of “outrageous” ideas because we “push the envelope” and “think outside of the box”. If we can push your software to do “something else”?

    We are already considering using Dokan for something that you never intended it to be used for or something you never possibly considered.

    I will give you a clue, Travel accommodation. Just let me cogitate on that and consider how Woocommerce might react.

    I welcome the opportunity for us both to work together on “joint” adventures.
