Basic caching or falcon caching not working
-
Hi
I’ve just downloaded the latest version (5.3.8) of WordFence and everything is working fine except the caching.
Here is what I have done:
-I have enabled Falcon caching in the performance tab. (I downloaded the backup version of the .htaccess file) – The falcon icon then appeared top-right.
-I have ticked the “Add hidden debugging data to the bottom of the HTML source of cached pages” box and clicked save.
-I then clicked on a few pages on my site, and then clicked on them a second time and viewed the source and there are no debug html comments in the source. Also when I go back to the performance tab and click on “cache stats”, it says “The cache is currently empty. It may be disabled or it may have been recently cleared.”I tried disabling the caching and then re-enabling it, but it still didn’t work. Likewise, with the basic cache option.
I’d appreciate some help please. 🙂
Here is the contents of the .htaccess file which is located in the root directory:
#WFIPBLOCKS – Do not remove this line. Disable Web Caching in Wordfence to remove this data.
Order Deny,Allow
#Do not remove this line. Disable Web Caching in Wordfence to remove this data – WFIPBLOCKS
#WFCACHECODE – Do not remove this line. Disable Web Caching in Wordfence to remove this data.
