Basic features for bitnami on Google Cloud

    Can we use free plugin for basic hide features on bitnami lamp install running on Google Cloud? What lines to add to config file if not using .htaccess?

    If your server does not process the .htaccess file, the plugin will not work for you, only the PRO provides manual deployment of rewrite.
    Or try to change the httpd config to use the .htaccess as described in this article Setup the plugin on Bitnami WordPress LAMP stack

    Hi
    I have changed the http config to allow use of htaccess according to your doc, and I can see WP Hide write lines to it. But my site still displays wordpress version and is not hidden. I have restarted apache and cleared cache too.

    I have tested on a site hosted on Bluehost and it works. But on a site hosted on Google Cloud, using Cloudflare, it does not work.

    Hi,
    Did you try to clear the Cloudflare cache? Can you ensure the rewrites are actually active on your server and available through .htaccess file?
