    How do I get at the code? When I go into edit the code vanishes.

    Hmmm. I don’t know how do you edit your posts – but disabling the wysiwyg animal will show you the code, for sure.
    (disabling: admin > Users > Your profile: left bottom corner)

    There is a button at the top of the edit post window that says “HTML”. I deleted all the code surrounding my post. Resolved.
