Hi @jackslobodian. You’ve written over a dozen reviews of plugins and ALL of them are negative. So it’s unlikely you’ll change your attitude.
However, I’ll add some context that might help you and other readers of this review.
When we first took over this plugin, the original developer said, “You’ll never get anywhere with the plugin. People want everything for free and complain if you charge for anything.”
We decided to prove them wrong and have been working to improve the plugin. You’re talking about the “Block Styles” and “Auto Insert Blocks” feature. In early 2025 neither of those features existed. We decided they would be helpful for users. The work took over 6 months and a ton of development work, testing and documentation.
We finally managed to release them late in 2025:
So your review says these are “basic functions”. Sorry, @jackslobodian. You’re looking at over half of year of work by multiple people. We track the cost of building features and these two cost well over $20,000.
We ended up releasing about 50% of each feature for free and kept 50% for Pro users in an attempt to recoup those costs.
But here we are again, right where the original developer said we’d be. Another person wanting everything for free and complaining if you charge for anything.
Fortunately there are lot of helpful people in the WordPress community, because reviews like this can really sap the enthusiasm from developers.
