My site is hosted on Bluehost.com but my email is via Microsoft Office 365. I tired Mandrill and all emails were going to my recipients’ SPAM folder. So I’m trying Postman as your seems to be

Postman will send mail via 🔐SMTP-STARTTLS to smtp.office365.com:587 using Password (Login) authentication.
    The Test email failed.

    Here’s the Diagnostic message:

    You didn’t use the Wizard.

    Postman Transport URI: smtp:tls:login://smtp.office365.com:587
Postman Transport Status (Configured|Ready|Connected): Yes | Yes | No

Is not a valid configuration at Bluehost because they block the ports to office365.com.

If you download the Postman v1.7 beta, the Mandrill API should work for you. It uses the HTTPS port.

Otherwise you must use a Bluehost email with the Bluehost mail server (mail.evokemagazine.com)

    Thanks, Jason.
Since I’m using Office 365, I don’t think I can also have mail.evokemagazine.com on Bluehost at the same time, can I?
Also, I thought Mandrill and Postman were, essentially, competitive plugins. Why would one choose to use both Postman and Mandrill?

No, either you use Office365 for your domain email or you use Bluehost for your domain email. But since you’re a Bluehost website you can’t also use the Office365 mail server for the website… but you can sign up your Office365 domain email at Mandrill (or SendGrid) and send from Bluehost via their API service.

    Mandrillapp.com is an email service.
wpMandrill is a WordPress plugin that implements the Mandrill API
Postman is a WordPress plugin that implements the Mandrill API

You can’t use them both, but you do get to choose which you want to use to send your email to Mandrill.

Thanks. I’ll probably switch back to email hosted on Bluehost.

Looks like your SPF is set for both so you shouldn’t have any issues switching back!

    evokemagazine.com. 14399 IN TXT "v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:spf.bluehost.com -all"

<geek>This is a great SPF btw, I love to see -all !!</geek>
