Basic question about multisite urls

Hi,

I searched and found plenty of great tutorials on how to set up multisite in WordPress but no resource clearly answered this basic question I have:

Will my current single wordpress site keep its current url?

I have a site, http://www.rb-lingen.de. It’s for an amateur football club and it runs fine. Now we want to organize a tournament in a few months and create a separate site for the tournament, with a slightly different look and layout and make that in a wordpress multisite setup.

We want to keep http://www.rb-lingen.de for the 1st site and the tournament site will get a new url (anything is ok, as long the main site stays the same. http://www.rb-lingen.de/tournament would be ok, tournament.rb-lingen.de would be ok etc. (‘tournament’ will be replaced with something else, just an example here)

so, my only question is , will the first site still be http://www.rb-lingen.de after the installation of wordpress multisite.
