Hi @gee12121,
I understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with inconsistent behavior when adding variable products to the basket, especially when it affects all products on your site. Thank you for sharing the screen recording and the page link, which helped in understanding the issue.
Just to check, did this problem start right after a recent update to WooCommerce, WordPress, or any of your plugins?
I know it’s been a couple of weeks since you first posted this, and apologies for the delayed response, but I just tested the add-to-cart and checkout flow on your product page, and I was able to add multiple variations to the cart without any issues.
Could you confirm if the issue has since been resolved on your end? If not, please share your full System Status Report by going to WooCommerce → Status, clicking Get system report, and pasting it into https://pastebin.com — then share the link here so we can take a closer look.
Looking forward to hearing how things stand!
Thank you @lovingbro. The issue is not solved yet. I had multiple support teams on it. Some could verify the error but said their plugin does not cause the error (caching plugin) – some could not verify the error.
I have tested it on various laptos and can many times produce the error. It is somehow related to the basket. If I “play” around long enough – adding and deleting items, going back and forth, .. something breaks.

Thank you for your try
Hi @gee12121,
Thanks for the clarification. I’ve just reviewed your site and was able to replicate the issue on Firefox, but not in Google Chrome. From what I can tell, this appears to be a script issue likely related to your theme or plugin conflict.
To help pinpoint the cause, please create a staging version of your site using a plugin like WP Migrate Guru. Once done, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, switch to the Storefront theme, and share the staging site link so we can carry out further inspection and testing.
Thanks @mosesmedh ,
Done:

– deactivated all plugins except Woocomerce
– installed and activated storefront theme
page is a mess but adding variant to the basket seems to work
Hi there,
Thanks for setting up the staging site and testing!
It’s great to hear that with only WooCommerce active and the Storefront theme, adding a product variant to the cart works correctly. That suggests the issue is likely caused by a conflict with your theme or one of the other plugins.
To narrow it down further, I recommend the following steps:
- Reactivate your original theme and test again.
- If the issue returns, the problem is likely theme-related.
- If not, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing each time to identify which plugin is causing the conflict.
Once you’ve identified the conflicting theme or plugin, you can then reach out to their support team for assistance.
Let us know what you find!
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
