bbForum – cannot view replies to topic posts

I recently installed bbPress 2.5.5 and BuddyPress 2.2.1 to my WordPress 4.1.1. I’m having a serious problem on my board: Topic posts are visible, but replies are not. They aren’t visible by the person replying, by the person who started the topic or by the keymaster.

I am using The Thinker Lite theme.

I’ve disabled a few plugins related to the forum without any luck. Replies were visible last Thursday, and then on Friday the were gone. I have erased the replies, but I can go add some if it’s useful to see/not see them on the forum.
