    Hello Robin,

I believe I read that this plugin is compatible with bbPress 2.5+. However, I am having one issue.

Settings -> bbp Style Pack -> Forum Templates -> Alternate Forum Template 1 option selected

Is not working and still shows as the default bbpress layout.

    Can you help with this?

This plugin is compatible with all released versions of bbpress, 2.6 is unreleased 🙂

However it is more likely that your theme is doing something – have a look at

    dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>Not Working?

and see if that tells you anything useful

I checked that and it’s all green 🙂

No bbpress files have been changed in the theme <- Green

No bbpress files have been changed in the parent theme <- Green

This sentance should have a green background <- Green

So I am at a loss now lol. No abnormal errors in console.

    EDIT:
I take back that there being no errors in console. Appears we do have some. 6 Total which just happens to be how many categories we have too.

    Example:
    <script>console.log(”);</script>
    <a class="bbp-forum-title" href="http://olivertt20.dev.onpressidium.com/forums/oliver-technical-bulletins/">Technical Service Bulletins</a>

    <script>console.log('');</script>
    <a class="bbp-forum-title" href="http://olivertt20.dev.onpressidium.com/forums/oliver-forums-welcome/">FORUMS, WELCOME</a>

And it repeats for the rest of the Forums. 6 Total

ok, can you list your forums and whether they are categories, forums or sub forums

And there may be a conflict with the bbPress Private Groups plugin. When I disable that plugin, the forums look like this:

As you can see it looks nothing like the first screenshot and all I did was disable bbp private groups plugin. When I re-enable the plugin – it goes back to the default view like the first screenshot.

It is almost as if the bbp Styles plugin is having no effect at all. The way I have forums setup is a custom page using bbpress shortcode. If that helps at all.

Even switching to the default wp theme Twenty SeventeenVersion: 2.2 it still does not work like it should.

Robin, would you like me to setup an admin account for you on the staging? We’re trying to update to bbpress 2.6 because of the 404 issues in bbpress 2.5. And we read that it is corrected in 2.6.

But we want to keep the same style that comes with your bb styling plugin. So far on staging running 2.6 it is not working correctly.

I can confirm after doing a forum reset that the problem remains. I have created a new wordpress website and installed bbpress and bb style pack and set the settings and it worked correctly. Which tells me there is something wrong in the database?

sorry, not sure from the above what you mean – you say

I have created a new wordpress website and installed bbpress and bb style pack and set the settings and it worked correctly

so this is a new site and it works ok – yes ?

    But

Which tells me there is something wrong in the database?

is on the old site – yes?

    Thread Starter jkw217

    (@jkw217)

Yes the old site I reset the forums – Cleared everything. And re-created categories and forums. The problem still remains. It will not style like I showed in the pictures above.

So it must be a database issue?

And then I created a LOCAL website fresh with bbpress and bbstyle pack and styled it and it worked correctly.

Is there a way to delete everything in the database that BB Style and BB Private Groups created?
