BBPress: Adding forums as menu dropdowns

Can anyone give me an idea how to add the forum elements to a menu? I’ve got the main forum (set up as a page) in the menu bar, but how to include the sub-fora eludes me!

I know I can do this with custom links but I’m hoping there’s a more portable-friendly way.
