BE AWARE!! Worst Experience Ever

    Their advertising is a trap. They say the easiest and fastest, but NOT EASY nor is it FAST!

    First we purchased UpdraftPlus Clone to make updates to the site and then send it back to the live server.

    Cloning it to the test server was really easy and fast.

    Made the updates To the site and first surprise…. I could not migrate it back to my live server.
    1) I could not load the backup files to the live server because the free plugin is limited to how many MB you can upload.
    2) tries doing FTP and the files did not work
    3) looked for other options to getting access to the database and files but they require you pay more.

    After I spent over a day trying to some how making it work, I finally gave up and decided to purchase their UPDRAFTPLUS MIGRATOR , another PAID solution They offer to migraTe back to your LIVE SERVER.

    They sell it as FASTEST AND EASIEST WAY TO MIGRATE back to your server, but it Is NOT easy nor nor Fast.

    I have been up for hours now waiting for it to migrate to my live site and is soooooo slooooooowwww, and keeps giving errors after errors. I am going to sleep now and hope that by tomorrow it finishes migrating without errors.

    Worst purchase I have ever done. VERY FRUSTRATING! Don’t lose your money here!

    They don’t have an option for FTP (need to Pay extra). Terrible experience!

    ****I would rather have made a local host and then transfer it back! that is much easier!!

    I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN

    Sorry to hear that. I don’t know what led you to say “1) I could not load the backup files to the live server because the free plugin is limited to how many MB you can upload.” – can you explain? There is no such limitation. Are you thinking of “All in One WP Migrate” (a different plugin not by us)? We have no such limitation and never has been. Similarly, on 3, there’s nothing in the free version of UD that prevents you downloading your backup files – what is it that you were seeing there?
