  • I’m not really sure what you’re trying to do in this builder, and how it directly relates to the plugin. Are you trying to make a single element sticky on the page? And that causes the blue lines?

Please elaborate….if possible, with a link so I can see it in action myself.

    Thanks!

P.S. having said that, I wouldn’t try to make anything sticky when you’re in “builder mode” or something. I’m not familiar with that builder myself, but I would expect that my plugin would only work on the final result, not when you’re working within the builder.

I can send a video later. When I tried to drag an object into the document it didn’t register and made all of those blue lines.

I understand that it’s not best to run while editing but I can’t really expect a customer to shut off a plugin every time they want to change a bit of text.

Anyway to just disable when on a certain page?
the URL when in the builder is */?fl_builder

Thanks for any help. I love the plugin.

I have some feedback from the Beaver Builder developer. He has a suggestion to fix. I know you probably busy but it would be great if you could work on this sometime.

Thanks for your hard work 🙂

Thanks for pointing me in that direction.

So I half-understand the issue, but since I’m not familiar at all with Beaver Builder, I’m gonna have to try it myself and see what it actually means they say.

From what I understand though, you can make something sticky with the builder as well (without using the Sticky plugin)?

Also, have you tried the Dynamic Mode in the settings? Not sure if that would make any difference, but it’s worth a shot.

I’ll try to investigate it in the next few days.

The only option for sticky is the header in the theme settings. I don’t think that’s the issue though.

Dynamic does fix it however it throws a new console error consistently. see below.

OK so I’ll try to investigate it with the builder.

Just to try and replicate it as much as possible, what’s the classname of the item you’re trying to make sticky?

    Thread Starter andrewmcbride

    (@andrewmcbride)

    yes.

    thanks

WHAT is the classname of the item? 😉

    .sticky

    haha

    <div id=”mobile-nav-tabs” class=”fl-row fl-row-full-width fl-row-bg-none fl-visible-medium-mobile sticky fl-node-5644a8a494c8b original” data-node=”5644a8a494c8b” style=”visibility: visible;”>

It’s only visible on medium and small devices btw if you want to look at it on the website.
