Beaver Builder Plugin not working

I have not had much luck using this plugin at all. It seems some days it works and some days it doesn’t. 90% of the time it doesn’t. It allows me to go to the page builder, drag a text editor to the screen, then the text box turns up black and doesn’t acknowledge any typing. It won’t let me edit any former pages either.

I have emptied all my caches, I have deactivated every plugin but beaver, and I am at my wits end. I have read very answer to this problem in the support forum, but none of them help me. The plugin was just updated today again, as well. Please help!
