    I’ve been reading through the support forum and your site regarding issues I might encounter using your plugin. I read on your site that there was a conflict with your plugin and W3 Total Cache. That’s a plugin I use and firmly believe in. Are you telling us that your plugin doesn’t work with W3?

    I’d also like to know if there are any issues with your plugin working with WooCommerce, CloudFlare, MaxCDN and a 5G firewall.

    Please answer all of these questions because I don’t want to install your plugin and create problems. And BTW, I do not have any known Malware or Virus issues, but I do want to prevent any problems that could effect my site.

    I don’t know of any conflicts with any of these plugins. The only problem I have with W3 Total Cache (or any other caching plugin) is that it caches any infections you get and makes it harder to get rid of them if you get infected. All my plugin does is scan for infected files and remove and know threat and vulnerabilities.

    I don’t know about 5G firewall but I have seen another firewall that blocks my plugin from downloading definition updates.

    As preventative measures my plugin can patch the wp-login.php file by adding a session based counter to prevent most scripted brute-force attacks. It can also upgrade older versions of timthumb scripts that could be used to plant malicious code onto your site. Other than that it is mostly useful for removing infections when your site gets compromised so I don’t see any how it could create any problems for you.

    Thanks for the reply. Part of the problem is the wp-login patch you referenced. I’ve already got my login redirected to a different url that helps prevent brute force attacks. Is there a way to disable that feature after your plugin has been installed?

    I think you’ve come up with a very useful plugin for WP users, but I’m not comfortable installing anything unless I know of other sites using it without issue.

    The login patch is optional and is only applied if you run a scan and select it to be patched. Nothing will change just by installing my plugin.

    My plugin has been downloaded over 100,000 times and I have over 25,000 sites that are registered on my blog as current users. I get really good reviews and ratings too, but the best way to know is to try it yourself. I understand your caution, I am that way too.
