• Hi Jeff, just want to clarify if this is the norm in the latest version.

You see I am writing some tutorials in my blog about your plugin and I want to make sure I fully understand all aspects and functionality about your plugin 😉

When you go to Post Type Plugins and you drag and drop a few plugins in Disabled Standard and or Disabled Mobile you see the following message in a post or page.

Settings for this post type have been overridden by the post type settings. You can edit them by going here. You can also override them by checking the box below and saving the post.

I have no problem with the above so far and I understand correctly the process.

However if I remove all the plugins from Post Type Plugins which represents a global setting, shouldn’t the message above disappear from a post and page and have the normal configuration window fully displayed to individually drag and drop plugins? Or is this the normal behavior now? Or does this have anything to do with the following support thread?

    Thank you

If you just remove the plugins and save it there is still a setting in the database. You need to click the button to reset that setting at the top of the post type settings page.

Hi Jeff, that is what I did and it did not work for me. So I was trying all different options. The one that worked for was the following.

After trying your suggestion I could not get it work.

    1. I thought it was a plugin conflict so I disabled all my other plugins except this one and that did not help.
    2. So I went into Global Settings and reset to default another words removed all plugins added to Disabled Standard and Disabled Mobile, so now this settings is empty.
    3. Then I went into Post Type Plugins Settings and selected Reset All box and clicked on the save button to the right of this option. That did the trick.
    4. I then went into a post or page and the following was not there any more…………….. Settings for this post type have been overridden by the post type settings. You can edit them by going here. You can also override them by checking the box below and saving the post.

After the above I was able to go back to Global Settings and add my plugins to Disabled Standard and Disabled Mobile and save it. Then I went into a post and page just to verify that it was working as normal and voila it was :). I could see the normal settings you see under Global settings.

My question now is, is my procedure above normal and correct?
