Why were the example snippets removed?

In Version 2.14.1 the Samples are still there: https://github.com/sheabunge/code-snippets/releases/download/v2.14.1/code-snippets.2.14.1.zip

The current logic is that the example snippets are only added for new sites.

We’re looking at replacing them in version 3, anyway.
