    Hello,

We had your plugin installed which seems to work great as a standalone plugin, but when we try to introduce caching things break.

We have Apache 2.4 and also installed lightspeed plugin but after 30 days the images would randomly stop showing and then show again.

We in the end had to remove lightspeed.

I wonder which cache plugin do you recommend with your plugin? Have you tried and tested any that work well? We are thinking of trying Total Cache but worried if anything will break again.

    Thanks for your help.
    Rob

We also have Cloudflare, but so far no problems with that, however we do want local cache plugin too.

    Thanks

    Hello @netzenrob,

    Thanks for your message.

Can you tell me more about what you would like to achieve?

As a rule, if you use a proxy server such as Cloudflare and you have a free version of Cloudflare, my plugin blocks this buffering. For Cloudflare free plans, our plugin will disable Cloudflare Caching (but images in WebP and AVIF format will be displayed correctly). The Cache-Control header will be set to private. This is because in the Cloudflare free plans does not support the Accept header (read more). Available “Vary for Images” in your Cloudflare plan is necessary for our plugin to function properly using Cloudflare CDN Caching when loading WebP and AVIF files.

When it comes to cache plugins, there should be no problems. I don’t have any worrying notifications from users about this.

    Best,
    Mateusz
