    I would like to know if it’s better/recommended to add a PHP handler like this…
    BPS > htaccess File Editor > Your Current Root htaccess File
    <add handler here>

    OR, like this…
    BPS > Custom Code > Root htaccess File Custom Code > CUSTOM CODE TOP PHP/PHP.INI HANDLER/CACHE CODE:
    <add handler here>

    And after the later, if there is anything else I need to do?

    Thank you!

    Adding custom code like php/php.ini handler htaccess code to BPS Custom Code saves that htaccess code permanently so that it is always combined/added into the root htaccess file when you click the Create secure.htaccess File AutoMagic button and activate Root folder BulletProof Mode.

    Root htaccess File Custom Code Setup Steps
    1. Enter your custom code in the appropriate Custom Code text box.
    2. Click the Save Root Custom Code button to save your custom code.
    3. Go to the Security Modes page and click the AutoMagic buttons.
    4. Activate BulletProof Mode for your Root folder.

    wp-admin htaccess File Custom Code Steps
    1. Enter your custom code in the appropriate Custom Code text box.
    2. Click the Save wp-admin Custom Code button to save your custom code.
    3. Go to the Security Modes page and activate BulletProof Mode for your wp-admin folder.
