    Hello,
Unfortunately, I have to get in touch with you again. You had created a beta version of Backup Migration for my problem 1.2.9.3. Reminder: Problem upper/lower case
I had to upload a version again after expiration, to a new site:
    https://steadfastchance.s2-tastewp.com
There I first updated the Backup Migration plugin to the same version as my local one. Then I uploaded the backup file and installed it.

Then I got the error message:

Deprecated: Constant FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING is deprecated in /s2-steadfastchance/wordpress wp-content… (cut off, not seen)

Deprecated: preg_match(): Passing null to parameter #2 of type string is deprecated in… (cut off, not seen)

Deprecated: strlen(): Passing null to parameter #1 of type string is deprecated in… (cut off, not seen)

    After that the complete page:

    TasteWP Site – Blocked (s2-tastewp.com)

is blocked, Site disabled due to abuse behaviour, Reason: Usage against our terms of use detected, Blocked website: steadfastchance.s2-tastewp.com

    Can you please help again?

    Greetings

    Peter

    Hi @pehof

I unblocked your website at TasteWP.

The reason of block was this file:
    "/wp-includes/class-wp-textdomain-registry - Kopie.php"

As it does not look harmful TasteWP will block any site that does not have valid file checksum compared to original WordPress core files.

I removed this file and unblocked this website, please remove this file on your local website as well or exclude WP Installation from the backup (it’s not required for restoration in almost all cases).

Regarding deprecation errors, TasteWP by default displays all notices for developers, so they can fix their issues with plugins. It’s highly possible that your local environment does not display deprecation messages.

In your case the deprecation was caused by PHP 8.1 and I believe your theme uses some deprecated functions / wrong use of function. It’s not an error but it’s something that may cause issues in future versions of PHP, that’s why it’s good to fix it if you own the theme otherwise you can contact author of the theme.

During site creation on TasteWP (advanced setup) you can disable error display if you wish.

Let me know if there is anything further I can do for you 🙂
    Thank you!

    Hello @iclyde,

I would like to thank you again for the great support. You are doing an excellent job.

I have deleted the file copy. The copy was from 11/02/2023 and the newer file was from 04/01/2023, can this happen with a wordpress update?

Because of the other errors, I looked. I use the theme Astra in the current version 4.1.5 and Astra pro same version. Also Elementor as page builder. Astra pro I bought. Can it be that the license is missing during restore and therefore errors occur?

Be it as it is. The site works again for now and I can continue to work.

Thank you very much for the excellent help.

    Greetings
    Peter
