I am running into a small issue here with this plugin and BeTheme.

I have already reached out to BeTheme and they say it’s a third party plugin issue to reach out to you, so here I am.

Whenever I have this plugin enabled for my products, it’s doubling the items in my cart, say I add 1 item, it adds 2, if I want 2 it adds 4 and so forth.

I have already disabled everything but this plugin, WooCommerce and BeTheme, the bug happens. I disabled the plugin, it works fine. If I enable the plugin but change to the default theme, the bug doesn’t happen. I am unsure where but some reason the Theme is causing a conflict and creating double the cart items for products.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Also noting that yes, plugin, themes and WordPress are all fully updated to the latest version.

    Hi @kylestilkey,

Sorry to hear about the difficulties encountered.

Based on your findings, it does appear to be a theme-specific conflict with BeTheme. Since everything works correctly with other themes and the issue happens only when BeTheme is active, the theme is most likely triggering the add-to-cart action twice (often through custom WooCommerce scripts or AJAX handlers).

Please check if BeTheme includes any feature/option related to WooCommerce Add to cart AJAX enhancements and try disabling them.

Hope it helps and let me know if you require any further assistance.

I see under woocommerce Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives was on, I disabled this and now the cart isn’t double adding anymore. I didn’t see any option to disable it with the Theme and I’m guessing it is doing it by default.

    Hi @kylestilkey,

Thanks for the update! Glad to hear the issue is resolved after disabling the AJAX add to cart option in WooCommerce.
