While importing a small file (71kb to 357kb, two dozen to 120 posts), I find I have to repeat with the same file multiple times to get it to complete. It’s very tedious. I was hoping to get pro to do a more complex imports with hundreds of posts with many fields, but I can’t do it when it only handles ten or twenty at a time. I gave up on importing all images and am just trying to get at least the featured images to import. Maybe the plugin can handle more posts without any images at all, but that’s not what I need. The size of individual images isn’t the problem, either. It will import a 6MB file fine but then die during a post with a smaller image.

I guess the solution is to break them up into many files of just 10 posts each, but that would not be acceptable for a paid plugin, and I’m assuming the import experience with pro is pretty much the same as the free version.

I don’t have the paid version. This is one of the reasons I am not going to purchase it.

    Hi,

If the importer doesn’t work for big-size files. Do the following

Increase your max_execution_time value to 9999 and your upload_max_filsize value to 100M and try again.
