Better solution than Widget Logic?

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can settle a decision for me. Basically I want to construct a clickbank membership site, nothing to large only about 200-500 members so I am considering wordpress.

I use wordpress for blogs so understand how it works, my biggest frustration is the inability to have different sidebars items/positions on different pages (I know there is a plugin as I use it, but its a lot of messing about for a simple function)

1.So what I want to know, is there a better way round this than using widget logic?

2. Will wordpress grow to have more of a cms feel to it?

3. Any good examples of wordpress membership sites?

Any help at all gratefully received.
