    Hello @amit675

Thank you so much for using our plugin. Yes, that’s true, but it is not an issue. You must understand that everything you send to the browser is susceptible to being copied or downloaded directly or by browser extensions. For this reason, the protection implemented by our plugin is not preventing the user from downloading the song but generating an audio file for demo different from the audio file for selling.

The plugin includes two options in the product’s settings to protect the audio files: a checkbox to activate the protection and an input box for entering the percentage (based on the audio size) of the audio file for selling that will be used for the demo. Once you configure the protection in the product’s settings, the plugin will generate a truncated copy of the audio file and will use it for the demo. Now, if the user downloads the audio file for the demo, it will be truncated copied and not the original one. The plugin includes another alternative to protect the audio files. If you have installed the FFMpeg application on your server, you can configure the plugin to include a watermark in the audio files. In this case, similar to the previous one, the plugin will create a copy of the original audio file by merging it with the audio file used for the watermark and will use this new file for the demo.

    Best regards.
