Big javascript file = bad for web vitals

    Hi, since the implementation of Webwinkelkeur on the customer’s site we noticed a drop in webvitals, in fact the site fails now on desktop and mobile.

    Webwinkelkeur has multiple issues:

    • javascript weights 183KB, which is also the biggest file on the page? Please make the file way smaller
    • on mobile the sites used the topbar, that resulted in the increase of CLS webvitals, so we changed that to “sidebar right bottom corner”.

    It would be better for web vitals to decrease the size of the javascript. But also have (maybe) a third option to use a shortcode to display that label of specific places; like hooking it into a product page.

    So, any plans to improve this?
