Big problem after manual update

    Hello – I just manually updated WordPress, disabled all plugins first and did everything by the book as I have a number of times before and now I am getting the following error that I cannot seem to fix:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘global’ (T_GLOBAL) in /var/www/vhosts/cjmsolutions.ca/httpdocs/wp-includes/comment-template.php on line 435

    Please help!

    Assuming you downloaded the latest version of WP from ww.wp.xz.cn and uploaded it via FTP, I’d also assume something went wrong with that file. Try uploading it again.

    I re=uploaded in Binary mode and it fixed the problem, Thanks for your help.
