Big problem with PixelYourSite

    Hello, i use your plugin on my website but he have the problem with PixelYourSite. it doesn’t intercept my facebook pixel event and also for GA4, when i turn off your plugin everything works correctly. you described some code we need to add to fix this problem we add it but nothing changes even after cookies are accepted.

    Hello @radoslavcarev,

    I’ve created a test website with the latest Complianz and PixelYourSite versions, and added a GA4 ID and Meta Pixel ID to PixelYourSite. Both of the tags are blocked, and are loaded after consent is provided.

    You can see my example site here, and some screenshots below. Perhaps you can indicate the difference with the PixelYourSite set-up on your website?

    Hi @radoslavcarev,

    I’m interested in the difference with your PixelYourSite set-up as compared to the above example site.

    All I did for the example was install Complianz, configure the Wizard, and then I entered the GA4 and Facebook Pixel ID in the PixelYourSite plugin; and they are blocked before obtaining consent & reloaded afterwards.

    Perhaps you can share an URL to your site? I currently don’t have any further leads as to what the cause of the issue can be.

    Hi @radoslavcarev,

    Could you elaborate on the exact behavior that you feel is not correct at the moment? Complianz is activated on the site, and currently I see Analytics & MS Clarity loading without consent, and the Facebook Pixel loads after clicking Accept in the Cookie Banner.

    I dont know what tool you use but whit meta pixel helper is this, and when i test in with google tag assistant i have problem with events as well, when i turn off your plugin i didnt have issued.

    Hi @radoslavcarev,

    From what I understand from the information you sent is that the pixel is not recognised by the tool, probably because the tool encounters the banner first and does not “accept it, therefor not getting the pixel presented.

    Like my colleague stated, everything seems to be in order with your setup, as you can see from his screenshot.

    I will close this thread as the issue itself is solved. You can always check how the tool you use works by checking this with them.
