Billing County is not valid – Again

Hi,
sorry I responded by email to another support ticket and then it got closed by itself,
getting this error message on our checkout using the paypal express checkout,
when specific counties are not provided in the address,how do we fix this and stop it from happening?
the user cannot edit the county or make any changes here,
I was sent this link in reply to the topic,

but it doesn’t supply a solution,
any idea how to fix this,

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.Do let us know so we can check and help further.

so as I said in the the first post, its not countries I’m seeing the issue for its counties,
for the country of Ireland,and all counties like shown in that link,

Thank you for sending the status report.
It’s strange that you’re seeing the error. A fix for this was included back in 2017 that normalizes the county names being used by PayPal and WooCommerce (Basically, PayPal uses a different format for counties than PayPal Checkout which was causing this). The fix is located here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout/pull/331
I see that the version of WooCommerce on your site is a bit outdated. Can you please update it to the latest version, place a test order with PayPal Chekcout and see if that works?
If that doesn’t work, then I recommend doing a conflict test as per the steps here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/#section-4
