Hello @rermis ,
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback and for your support of WP Adminify. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.
You’ve raised a very important point about maintaining a clean and trusted WordPress admin experience, and we absolutely agree with the spirit of the WordPress plugin guidelines you referenced.
I would like to clarify the intended behavior of this notice. The Black Friday promotional popup is designed to appear only once per admin user. Once it is closed by clicking the “X”, it should not reappear for that user. Our goal has always been to balance important announcements with our commitment to a non-intrusive and clean dashboard.
Based on your message, it seems the popup may be displaying repeatedly, which is not the expected behavior and indicates a problem on our end.
To help us investigate and resolve this immediately, could you please confirm if you are seeing this notice repeatedly even after closing it? If so, this is a bug, and we will treat it as a high priority to fix.
We stand by our commitment to providing a streamlined admin experience and apologize for any disruption this has caused in your production environment. Your report is invaluable in helping us uphold that standard.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
Thank you for your patience as we looked into this.
We have now debugged the issue and successfully identified the root cause. Our team is currently fixing it, and we will be releasing an update shortly to resolve the problem.
I sincerely apologize for this error and the disruption it caused in your workflow. I can assure you that we are putting measures in place to prevent this from happening again with future promotional notices.
We truly value your trust and are committed to ensuring WP Adminify maintains the clean and professional dashboard experience you expect.

Hi jemeeroy,
Thank you for your prompt response. I understand that the popup only displays once per site, but I manage dozens of sites with this plugin installed.
But the core issue here is that the ad:
1) Is a center screen popup ad requiring dismissal in wp-admin
2) Displayed on settings pages belonging to other plugins, effectively placing advertising on top of other developers’ work
Any promotional notice displayed outside of WP Adminify’s own settings pages is still a guideline issue, regardless of whether it is a popup or not, and the full-screen Black Friday popup simply makes this more of a concern.
Hi @rermis
We fixed the issue and it will never happens with you or any of our users again. There was a problem in our end and I am so sorry for the issue. Now there will be no popup or ads in the future from WP Adminify. Only when someone click on the upgrade to pro or the locked pro feature they will able to see the notice or popup.
Please update WP Adminify and the issue should be resolved if not then maybe it’s caching issue but it will be fixed. Me and the team tested properly and released the new update.
Thanks for notifying us the issue, feel free to let us know if there is any other issue you are facing with WP Adminify.
I am marking the topic as resolved now. If you face any other issue please create a support ticket. Also notify me if the popup ads related issue is resolved on your end or not too.
