Black hole attack

Hi guys.

Hearing about these brute force attacks hitting WP and it looks like we just got hit? I run wyoming-rc.com and AVG of course on my machine. I cannot access the site due to the threat being blocked by avg. I tried chrome and IE. IE gets me a little further, but still blocked out. Any idea how to combat this issue? Luckily we are not a busy site, but it appears to be down for good (err… I am no WP expert, so I do not know where to start). Any ideas on how to correct this issue and how to prevent the site from getting attacked again once the issue is resolved?
