I have been using WP Cerber for a while now on different websites but I am still in a way new to it. I was wondering what the blacklist actually does. I have blacklisted IP addresses that try to probe for vulnerabilities such as looking for *.php files in the media folder but the same blacklisted IP addresses are still probing the site for vulnerabilities. E.G. if I blacklist an IP today, the same blacklisted IP will come tomorrow or another day and do the same thing, again, while being blacklisted already

Having those addresses on the black access list prevents them from doing anything harmful to your website. Roughly speaking, they have read-only access. There physically is no way to stop them from sending requests, though.

What should I do to prevent sending harmful requests? A lot of requests create a load on the server and my hoster blocks my site because of exceeding the allowed limit. Although after installing your plugin and partially configuring it, the number of requests decreased significantly. And it is still unclear: if Cerber has already detected a bot, should I mark this ip with a black list or it is automatically included in the black list.
