Coraline Theme, (BookPublishGuide.com/blog/) if I eliminate all columns (widgets) the text of a page is positioned correctly; but with even one added column (right or left) the text behaves as though there is an image, and it moves down, and/or off to the side.

I thought it might have to do with my placed images, so I removed them – no difference. In the “text” block I leave no space above the text. But once “published” that invisible block pushes text away again.

I tested one page with only two short lines of text, and that stays up. But if I add another sentence, the text gets all pushed around again. You can see if you go to the site.

I hate to ask, since I’m totally new with WordPress, and maybe it’s something simple everyone knows about; but I’ve done all I can think of and am at wit’s end. Please help. Thanks!

Solved problem myself. I’d added (and activated) Google Adsense PlugIn, but had not continued to set up properly. Deactivated that plugIn (for now) and blank area is gone.
(Just in case anyone else has the problem.
