Blank “Backend menu” with error

So as soon as I installed the module and went to set up the backend menu I see this error message across all roles “Current user does not have enough capabilities to access any available backend menu.” including administrator role. I’m currently logged on as an administrator, who has all capabilities, how can I fix this?
