I suspect that the emails don’t have a plain text version. You should ensure that “Text fallback” is set to “Yes”
Hi Wayne, many thanks. The e-mails are actually in plain text without any HTML, and I have tested multiple settings of “Text fallback” to yes and no, it does not seem to affect the output. Might it be possible for me to send you the raw e-mail message? I have a sample of one message that does work and another that does not. Thanks again.
Please install the support addon which will send me a couple of logs.

Thank you very much! Done. #Cheers
I never did receive the logs. If you got them please forward them to [email protected]
Hi Wayne, I’m getting the same issue here. Blank email when emailing plain text email. I’ve enabled the support add-on so hopefully you’ve received the logs this morning, but I’ll email them to you as well just in case.
Chris
Update: As mentioned here, switching off the drop signature feature provides a temporary workaround for this issue.

A fix was recently released that does not require you to turn off the drop signature feature.
Hi Wayne, circling back on this issue after a bit. I forwarded the logs to [email protected] along with the source of the messages that are (still) coming with blank “post_content”. Thank you!
Hi Jesse,
Looks like some kind of spam detection service is getting in the way. I see this in the logs:
Spam detection software, running on the system "server.sfbay.ca", has NOT identified this incoming email as spam. The original message has been attached to this so you can view it or label similar future email. If you have any questions, see root\@localhost for details. Content preview: Oct 13, 2017 - BCN3:SF: LAW SPONSORED BY SF DA, SIGNED BY GOVERNOR ALLOWS ARREST RECORDS TO BE SEALED BCN3 -ARREST RECORDS By Bay City News Service People who have been arrested but not
If you have version 1.0.7 of the support addon the logs are in your media library.
Wayne
I received your logs today and it looks like the email parser is having some trouble with some character(s) in the email body. I’ve attempted to fix the issue, but since it doesn’t happen on my system I have to assume it has something to do with the specific version of PHP on your system.
Be on the lookout for version 1.9.7
Also there are a number of errors reported regarding the Hidden Tags plugin.
