Blank GUID’s

    I successfully imported a podcast feed from another source, however the GUID’s are not showing up in the new Powerpress feed. The one exception is a single episode, which was entered manually from scratch.

    I checked the wp_posts table, and the GUID column is populated (though not with the original GUID’s from the imported feed). The only other plugins on the site are Divi, Jetpack, and Yoast.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi dbl256,

    Either the GUIDs were blank in the source feed or they were created in a way that isn’t compatible with the WordPress feed generator, so PowerPress couldn’t import them. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thanks. That could be it. The original GUID’s are pretty strange. Is the answer to put new GUID’s directly into the wp_posts table?

    Hi dbl256,

    I checked with the Blubrry dev team and was told that is the correct database table for GUIDs.
