I am new to the web and could really use some help. I won a auction on DP and the site is a WP Blog I would have never bid if I knew what I was getting into. The Blog was hosted with WP and I should have left the hosting alone but I had a reseller account at Hostgator so I switched hosting and now I have been trying to get it back online for a week and a half. I do not know if I am making progress or not after I uploaded the blog when I tried to check to see if it was online I would get the “index file” after that I made some changes ? I got the message “error establishing database connection” so I created a new database and now I get a “blank page”. So I need some caring soul to help me to see if I am getting any closer to getting back online.
