    Hey there,

I was here earlier, but you closed the topic, because of my late reaction. My apologies, but the problem still isn’t solved.
Another problem is that I can’t make a log from WooCommerce. It tells me to make the folder in Uploads writable, and it is, but it still doesn’t work.
Can I provide you with a login so that you take a look for yourself (because you were in disbelieve of the problem)?
My client is bugging me to fix the problem, so I would appreciate the help. 🙂

    Hi @dojaro,

Please go to WooCommerce > Status > System Status, click on Get system report, then click on Download for support, attach the file on https://www.file.io/, and finally paste the download link in a reply here (the file will be deleted after the first download, so please don’t try to download it yourself).

Thanks for uploading the file, @dojaro.

However, I tried to download it, and it seems that someone else already did it (perhaps it was you yourself?). Anyway, could you please upload the file again at https://www.file.io/?

No, it wasn’t me. Maybe a curious reader?

Yes, @dojaro. I think someone is reading our conversation, since the file was downloaded again by someone else, and I was not able to check the file on time.

Could you please try sending the file to [email protected]?

Thanks, @dojaro: I received and checked the file already! 👍

I realized that our plugin is deactivated in your site. Could you please try reactivating our plugin, and opening a generated PDF invoice (one with the green checkmark) and check if it opens correctly?

Okay, it’s active now. Hopefully not for too long, because the site is “blank” (on the front) now…

The invoice (and slip) are opening as they should, but the site isn’t readable this way…

    Thanks for trying that, @dojaro:

Just to rule out that this is not related with a corrupt update, please try downloading a fresh installation of the latest release here: https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips.3.9.4.zip

Then, follow these steps to reinstall the plugin:

    • Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin
    • Click on the “Upload Plugin” button, choose the file you will download using the link I shared above, and then click on “Install Now”
    • Finally, replace your installed version with the new one.

Let me know whether it worked or not!

I just updated this morning (hoping it would make all my problems go away). 🙂

This is a follow-up for those with a similar issue:

After investigating along with @dojaro on this, we realized that it was a permissions issue in the uploads directory, which did not allow writing new files (our plugin requires creating an asset directory there), which seems to have been affecting other plugins as well.

The solution is to apply 755 or 750 to the uploads directory, and all its subdirectories, to allow creating new directories and files there.
