Hello, I’ve noticed that there is a bug when trying to add the %%currentyear%% variable between [ ]

For example, on the meta tite, if i add [%%currenttyear%% ]

As you can see, it displays like this [2021 ]

I can’t remove that blank space after the year number in any way.

The language I am using is Spanish
and I currently have the latest version of Yoast SEO

    Thank you

    Hello Alexander,

Thanks for reaching out regarding the Yoast SEO snippet variables.

Unfortunately, we were unable to replicate the issue and we are sure it is not language-dependent. Using %%currentyear%% in square brackets [] worked without seeing a space being added after the year. See image1 and image2.

Can you please double-check that you are not adding the space in error? Are you copying and pasting the variable or manually typing it in?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
