Hello, sb-hiren.
Thanks for trying ScrapeAZon.
A blank iframe, especially on the Test tab, indicates that your site was not able to connect to and retrieve information from the Amazon API. This could be for a number of reasons, but the first thing you should do is verify that your Amazon API Access Key and Secret Key are correct.
You can verify that your Secret Key and Access Key work by using the ScratchPad here:
http://associates-amazon.s3.amazonaws.com/scratchpad/index.html
If your Access Key and Secret Key are correct, verify that your site is configured with a transport that is supported by the WordPress HTTP API (cURL, for example).
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
James
That tool is great! Thanks for sharing. Looks like we have the wrong information.
Hi, sb-hiren.
Happy to help. Now that we know what the issue is, I’m going to go ahead and mark this topic as resolved because it appears to not be a plugin issue. If you need any other assistance, please let me know.
Thanks again for trying ScrapeAZon.
James
James,
Didn’t know if I should start a new thread or just reply here.. but is there something special to do to get the Keys setup? The client has sent us 4 different sets and nothing works.
Hi, sb-hiren.
The only special requirement is that the access key and secret key must be the root keys for the Amazon API account. Unfortunately, Amazon’s Product Advertising API does not yet support IAM keys. It’s possible that your client has been sending you IAM keys.
Hope that helps.
James
