• Hello everyone,

A few hours ago I changed the theme of my website (www.kjg-troisdorf.de)
to Zerif Lite and since then the whole page is just blank.
I dont know if I can enter the admin mode somewhere else but the like /wp-admin/ is completely blank too.

If someone could help me that would be awesome.
    Thanks

  • A blank screen is typically an indication of an underlying PHP error, so you’ll want to check your server’s error logs to see if something’s being reported there which might give a clue as to the source of the problem.

Thanks for the quick response but I have no idea where to find error logs since I can’t get into the admin menu.

Your hosting company should have given you the access details to some type of panel (e.g. cPanel) to manage your site at the file level (url + username + password). Ask your host. Once in you should navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and then rename or delete the zerif-lite folder. If your previous theme is still in the themes folder then you should now regain access to the WordPress dashboard through the usual login process: yoursite.com/wp-admin.php?
