After 4.0 update for WP SlimStat, The /wp-admin page comes up as a blank white page when the WP SlimStat ShortCodes plugin is enabled.

Logins and everything else works fine. So you don’t lose access or anything.

When I disable the ShortCodes plugin, everything works fine.

Someone else also mentioned the same issue inside a previous thread today, but I figured it needed its own thread since it’s a different topic.

  • I am having this same issue, except I disabled the Dashboard Widgets plugin to get my /wp-admin page back.

Yes, please be patient. The Dashboard Widgets add-on is currently not compatible with Slimstat 4.0. We are already working on the new version, which should be released in the next couple of days.

    Thank you,
    Gerlando.

Opps, I referenced the wrong plugin. The WP SlimStat ShortCodes works fine. I meant to write that the Dashboard Widgets plugin causes the error.

@all, please uninstall the Dashboard Widgets add-on from your site, and upgrade to Slimstat 4.0.1. This new release includes that functionality directly in core. Please let me know if this works for you.

    Awesome. Works great! Thanks.

Do you have plans to merge the ShortCodes functionality too?

@kirksylvester, thank you for your quick reply, I’m glad it works! As for your question, yes, we do have a plan to merge the shortcode functionality into our core plugin.
