Have you also taken a look at the error log? If there is nothing there, the debug mode of WordPress could also provide useful information: https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/advanced-administration/debug/debug-wordpress/

And: Have a look at the source code of the page. Is there no HTML code to be seen there? Or is there and it simply breaks off somewhere?

Thank you @threadi for your reply.

Error log had some problems but it was a long time ago.
Debug log had some minor problems with plugins, so I switched them off.
HTML source code is completely empty.

Are there any files in the /wp-admin/ directory?

What access status do you see in the access log for the call?

Yes, there are files in /wp-admin/. I even updated wordpress by copying a fresh copy of this folder.

Can you tell me how to check the access status/log? I don’t quite understand what you mean.

There should also be an access log where the error log is. In this you can see every single request with its HTTP status. If you can’t find it, contact your hoster’s support.
