    I have a blog using a slightly modified version of Blix. The template works great but I would like to add a few features. Can anyone give me an idea how to add a “What I’m reading now” section (some amazon book pics and links) to the right column (under the feeds section) like they do in most versions of typepad? I would also like to change the default main area font to verdana. Which template or CSS file should I change?

    checkout the sidebar.php file located in the blix directory and add another section called “what i’m reading…”

    Read up on a ‘Custom Fields’ in Codex. There’s an exmaple which is very similar to what you are trying to achieve.
